The Earth and Planetary Surface Processes (EPSP) focus group of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) is sponsoring a T-shirt logo design contest. We are requesting submissions for designs that capture the essence of EPSP! The winning design will appear on T-shirts sold at the Fall Meeting and proceeds will benefit student programs of the EPSP focus group. The contest is open to all AGU student members with primary or secondary affiliation with EPSP. If your design is chosen as the winner, you will receive: (1) free student registration to the 2015 AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco, California, (2) a T-shirt with your winning design, and (3) recognition of your winning design as part of the EPSP awards ceremony.
EPSP is a multidisciplinary field that embraces the full range of processes – including anthropogenic – that generate, erode, and measure landscapes, that generate stratigraphy, and that couple the internal dynamics of the surface to climatic and tectonic forcings.
Submissions will be accepted 15 June – 10 September 2015. After the closing date for submissions T-shirt design finalists will be uploaded to the EPSP focus group website on 14 September for voting. The design with the most votes by 28 September 2015 will be chosen as the winner. The winner will be announced 30 September 2015.
